Wilderness Experience 2012 Summer Program

Check out these amazing opportunities...

Wilderness Experience is a program designed to get

youth engaged in activities to bring God’s creation

and values alive.

June 21-23: Our first trip of the summer takes us to

the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. We will have beach

day in sunny Santa Cruz, explore the Redwoods in the

Santa Cruz mountains and have an amazing time en-

joying the California coast.

June 28-30: The second trip of the summer will take

us to the Lassen National Forest for some boating fun

and fishing at Lake Almanor, and a day of swimming

and jumping at Indain Falls in the Plumas National

Forest. We will camp at Lake Almanor and enjoy this

gem in our backyard!

July 12-14: Glacier-fed waters of McCloud River and its

magnificent waterfalls await on our third trip. We will

spend three days exploring and enjoying the McCloud

Falls area at the base of majestic Mount Shasta.

July 19-21 : California and Nevada share our last desti-

nation. We will go to Lake Tahoe, swim in its incredibly

clear waters, hike in its beautiful granite mountains

and swim and rock climb at Indian Springs in the Ta-

hoe National Forest.
