So last Saturday we were supposed to go to Deer Creek Falls, but with all the rain, we decided we need to find a better spot for our church's Wilderness Experience Youth Day. We ended up going to Big Bald Rock, a granite dome peak above Lake Oroville. We had a great time with 20 of us going up, hiking around and playing some rad games of hide and seek. We made up teams and had a great time. We made a fire, roasted marshmallows, made s'mores in an absolutely beautiful fall day. Check out the picture of the group, many of them wearing team headbands. We had the Green Ligers against the Flaming Monkey Twinkies....Green Ligers won in the ended with an epic "Final Hide and Seek". See you all soon. Come on the experience with us.
